AIRTH founding member Iis Tussyadiah had the privilege to launch the prestigious Annals of Tourism Research's Curated Collection on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. The Collection contains all past articles published in the Annals of Tourism Research on the topic, and it continues to grow as new articles are added.
Iis in her paper unpacks the need to shape an automated future of tourism as a social phenomenon and an economic activity, thereby contributing to theory and practice by providing directions for future research in this area. She points out the following topics as priorities for future research: designing beneficial AI, facilitating adoption, assessing the impacts of intelligent automation, and creating a sustainable future with artificial intelligence.
AIRTHers proudly congratulate Iis for once again showing to be one of the most impactful researchers in the e-tourism domain. The paper can found here.
