Following the model of distribution networks from abroad and the experience of our own company in distributing over a million In Your Pocket's guides as well as products from the brand THE Slovenia (thematic maps, magazines, books) at 580 points across Slovenia annually, we have seen a need in the market for establishing a distribution network of Infostands at the 100 most visited tourist points with information (brochures, flyers) about other tourist destinations in Slovenia. The project will enable the regular and organised exchange of tourist information between destinations and establish greater visibility for smaller, less-exposed destinations. Tourists and visitors will receive a well-rounded presentation of information about the tourist offer from all over Slovenia, encouraging them to actually visit lesser known tourist destinations, since we live in a country where almost every destination is reachable in less than 2 hours. This will also relieve the burden on the most visited tourist destinations, such as Ljubljana, Bled, Kranjska Gora, Soča Valley, coastal towns, etc, and have a beneficial effect on the tourist flows in Slovenia, as well as the deseasonalisation of the tourist offer. The stands will be attractively designed and custom-made in Slovenia from Slovenian wood.
