The Irish Tourism Industry Awards are presented to individuals, companies, and organizations that have developed, presented, marketed or sell improved visitor experiences in Ireland and contributed to increasing number of visitors to the destination. The awards are presented every two years and are rewarded in many categories, some of which recognize innovation in tourism. Those categories are:

River Valley Holiday Park in Wicklow is the recipient of 2017 Best innovative place to stay award category of Irish Tourism Industry Awards. Guinness Storehouse is the winner of Best leisure tourism innovation category of 2015 Irish Tourism Industry Awards. Guinness Storehouse is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ireland. The Storehouse is pint glass shaped, being the largest pint glass in the world. Visitors can learn about brewing heritage of Ireland, take part in interactive experiences and taste the Guinness beer.
